Frequently Asked Questions

This is where you will find most answers. If your question is left unanswered, feel free to contact us.

How often can I have infusions?

It’s safe enough to have infusions weekly, but you don’t need to. Most people have them every two to three weeks or once a month. This keeps your energy and immune levels up beautifully.

Is IV Vitamin therapy safe?

IV vitamin therapy is 100% safe if you have an infusion at a reputable place that offers medically approved vitamins that have been compounded in a sterile facility. All medical details must be provided beforehand and the infusion needs to be administered by a registered nurse. Then you’re all good! Everyone can (and should) have infusions, except if you suffer from severe kidney dysfunction or if you are pregnant. Even though it’s safe, the dosage may be too much for an unborn foetus. This is why we prefer not to do infusions to pregnant women.

Is it painful?

You may feel a little prick as the needle is inserted. It is then removed. Only a small plastic tube remains in the vein which is not painful at all. You won’t have any pain or discomfort once you are dripping. And the benefits be greater than the 2 seconds of discomfort, we promise!

What is the difference between oral vitamins and intravenous vitamins?

Oral vitamins travel through the digestive system which can result in negative side effects such as nausea and constipation, and only allows for 20-30% absorption. Vitamins and minerals administered intravenously guarantee 100% absorption into the bloodstream, and a much higher dose of vitamins can be tolerated. The results are therefore more effective and longer lasting.

How long will it take to receive my infusion?

It takes between 15 minutes and one hour to administer, depending on which infusion you select. The bigger your veins the quicker the vitamins will infuse.

When will I start feeling the effects? And how long will they last?

Some people feel the effects immediately, including a calming feeling that takes over. Others feel it as the day goes on, and some feel it when they wake up the next day. The effects last about four weeks, depending on lifestyle.

What types of vitamins are infused ?

We administer different amounts of Vitamin B12, Vitamin B Complex (all the other Vitamin B’s), Vitamin C, Magnesium and Glutathione, depending on the infusion selected. All vitamin and mineral compounds are administered in saline which is made up of sodium chloride. It is safe and excellent for rehydration and replenishing electrolytes.

Can I combine different infusions?

Yes absolutely. The infusions work beautifully together. Here are a few popular combinations: Sports Endurance and Immune Boost, Skin Radiance and Immune, and Energy Boost and Detox drip.

Is IV addictive?

There is nothing addictive about vitamins and minerals. But you will love the feeling of renewed energy levels, mental clarity and a sense of calm.

Are there any side effects?

There are no negative side effects at all and there is no down time. Infuse, go and feel good.

Can I benefit from IV drip if I am pregnant ?

Please note, we are unable to offer any services or treatments to pregnant women.
