The first solution that simultaneously tackles the 12 causes of aging
Mitochondrial dysfunction
Aging leads to dysfunction of the mitochondria, the energy powerhouses of our cells. This leads to a reduction in cellular and organic performance compared to that of youth.
Can lead to:
- Fatigue, weakness and effort intolerance,
- Gastrointestinal disorders,
- Cognitive decline,
-
Altered metabolism.
Cellular senescence
Senescent cells, or “zombie cells”, are cells that have stopped dividing and secrete substances harmful to healthy cells and tissues as you age.
Can lead to:
- Appearance of wrinkles,
- Appearance of age spots,
- Drying and thinning of the skin,
- Damage to neighboring cells
Loss of proteostasis
Proteins accumulate in and around cells over time. If not eliminated, they disrupt proper cell function.
Can lead to:
- Neurological symptoms,
- Muscular weakness and atrophy,
- Inflammaging (age-related chronic inflammation),
- Weakened immune function,
- Diminished tissue regeneration.
Impaired cellular communication
As we age, our cells are increasingly exposed to a hostile environment, characterized by pro-inflammatory substances and other deleterious compounds that hinder the proper functioning of cells, including stem cells.
Can lead to:
- Gastrointestinal disorders,
- Weakened immune function,
- Appearance of wrinkles,
- Dry, thinning skin
Genomic instability
As we age, our DNA becomes damaged, particularly in stem cells and rapidly dividing cells. Damaged DNA can disrupt cellular function, affecting the proper functioning of tissues and organs.
Can lead to:
- Cognitive decline,
- Weakened immune function,
- Altered metabolism.
Epigenetic alterations
As we age, the epigenome – the molecular machinery that regulates the activity of our genes – becomes disorganized. This can deactivate beneficial genes or activate problematic ones that shouldn’t be.
Can lead to:
- Altered mood,
- Poor detoxification,
- Weakened immune function,
- Cognitive decline,
- Deteriorating cardiovascular health.
Telomere shortening
As we age, the ends of our chromosomes – known as telomeres – shorten and can no longer effectively protect DNA. This increases the risk of genomic instability and disrupts proper cellular function.
Can lead to:
- Decreased immunity
- Increased risk of mortality
Deregulation of nutrient perception
As we age, our cells become less sensitive to nutritional signals, disrupting their ability to produce and use energy. This imbalance can lead to reduced energy and metabolic disorders.
Can lead to:
- A slower metabolism
- A deterioration in cardiovascular health
Stem cell depletion
As we age, stem cells become dysfunctional or die off. Stem cells are essential for tissue regeneration. When they are less numerous or less effective, tissues renew themselves less well.
May lead to:
- Decreased tissue regeneration
- Increased vulnerability to infections
- Cognitive decline
Autophagy deactivated
When cells lose their ability to clean themselves (a process called autophagy), they accumulate damaged or dysfunctional cellular waste. This phenomenon is linked to metabolic, neurological disorders and even certain cancers.
Can lead to:
- Cognitive decline
- Weakened immunity
- Disturbed metabolism
Inflammaging
Microbiome dysbiosis
Dysbiosis is an imbalance of microbial flora, particularly in the intestinal tract. This imbalance can lead to digestive disorders, lowered immunity and an increased risk of infections and chronic diseases.
Can lead to:
- Digestive disorders
- Unstable mood
- Slower metabolism
-
Disrupted immunity
All about NAD+ infusions
What is NAD+?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a remarkable coenzyme present in all living cells.
This coenzyme is important for promoting cell regeneration, converting food into energy, fighting disease, preventing aging, protecting and lengthening telomeres, and even repairing damaged DNA.
NAD+ is essential for energy metabolism and can directly and indirectly influence metabolic pathways, DNA repair, cellular damage and cellular immune function. These cellular processes and functions are important for the maintenance of good physical and mental health, disease prevention and healthy aging.
A drop in NAD+ levels can trigger cognitive decline, cancer, metabolic disorders and frailty. Most of these diseases associated with aging can be slowed and even reversed by restoring NAD+ levels.
With NAD+ intravenous infusion therapy, the molecule works quickly to repair cells throughout the body and neurons in the brain. It acts as a catalyst for the ultimate restoration of the brain, and emerges as a potential therapeutic approach to age-related diseases that may ultimately serve to extend human lifespan and health.
Who is the Nad+ infusion intended for?
The Nad+ infusion is aimed at people suffering from chronic fatigue, addictions, cognitive decline, athletes, people seeking to slow down aging, people suffering from depression or anyone wishing to improve their vitality and overall wellbeing.
How is it administered?
Our NAD+ infusion is administered intravenously and infused at a slow rate to minimize the discomfort of this type of infusion as much as possible.
How long does NAD+ perfusion last?
The NAD+ infusion classically lasts 1h30-2h . It can be administered more rapidly if the patient tolerates it however adverse effects are often more intense when NAD+ is administered too rapidly.
Why does the infusion take so long?
During an NAD+ infusion, the patient may experience certain side effects. These side effects are minimized when the infusion is administered slowly. They disappear as soon as the infusion is stopped.
What side effects can be experienced during a NAD+ infusion?
The most common side effects, linked to infusion speed, are as follows:
1.Sensation of heat throughout the body:
Why? NAD+ activates metabolic pathways linked to energy production (notably in mitochondria). When administered rapidly, this can cause a rapid increase in cellular activity, resulting in a sensation of heat.
2. Chest tightness or abdominal discomfort:
Why? Rapid injection of NAD+ can stimulate the autonomic nervous system, particularly the parasympathetic system. This may cause a sensation of “tightness” or transient discomfort in the chest or stomach.
3.Nausea or dizziness:
Why? This may result from a rapid change in energy metabolism or sudden activation of certain neuronal pathways. NAD+ also interacts with neurotransmitters, which can affect balance and overall sensation.
4. Temporary headaches or mental fog:
Why? By modulating brain activity via stimulation of mitochondria and ATP production, NAD+ can temporarily unbalance certain neurotransmitters in some people.
5. Accelerated heart rate or anxiety
Why? If the infusion is too rapid, the stimulating effect may be perceived as stress or agitation, especially in people sensitive to metabolic variations.
Tips to reduce side effects during a NAD+ infusion
-
Reduce infusion rate: adverse effects are often more intense when NAD+ is administered too rapidly.
-
Stay hydrated before and after the infusion: Drinking water helps to better tolerate the infusion.
-
Be in a calm, relaxing environment: This can reduce feelings of anxiety or oppression.
Existe-t-il des contre-indications à la perfusion de Nad+ ?
-
Grossesse et allaitement
-
-
NAD+ and cancer: why it’s controversial
NAD+ is a molecule essential to cellular metabolism, energy production (via mitochondria) and DNA repair. So far, so good, but… it can be a problem in cancer.
💥 The potential problem:
-
NAD+ supports cell growth
-
It helps all cells function better – including potential cancer cells.
-
-
It can interfere with some cancer treatments
-
For example, some chemotherapies or radiotherapies aim to induce DNA damage in cancer cells. As NAD+ is involved in DNA repair, it could theoretically reduce the efficacy of these treatments.
-
-
Effect on enzymes such as sirtuins and PARP
-
These enzymes use NAD+ to function and are linked to cellular regulation, including mechanisms involved in cancer.
-
⚠️ So, to summarize:
| Situation | NAD+ perfusion |
|---|---|
| Active cancer (untreated or under treatment) | ❌ Strongly discouraged |
| Recent issue (less than 5 years) | ⚠️ To be discussed with oncologist |
| Stable remission > 5 years, no treatment | ✅ Possible, but with strict medical follow-up |
Can I receive the Nad+ infusion during pregnancy?
No, this injection is contraindicated during pregnancy.
How many Nad+ sessions are needed to feel the full benefits?
The number of sessions depends on individual needs. We always offer an NAD test during the first infusion. Depending on the result of this test, we carry out an initial induction phase of 2,4,6 sessions. Thereafter, we recommend one infusion per month to maintain results.
How long does it take to feel the effects of Nad+ infusion?
Effects may vary.
In general, the benefits are as follows:
1 week: Increased energy, deeper sleep, mental calm, cognitive clarity. Effects may be subtle at first.
6 weeks: Visible skin improvement. Beginning of cellular and metabolic revitalization.
3 months: Smoother skin texture, optimized metabolism. Cellular health continues to improve.
1 year: Overall feeling of lasting well-being and slowing of biological aging.
5 years: Cumulative visible benefits: enhanced vitality, prolonged youthfulness, strengthened health.
