In what cases should vitamin B be taken?

Vitamin B comprises 8 types of vitamin: B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B8 (biotin), B9 (folic acid) and B12 (cobalamin). They’re all water-soluble and are assimilated through food intake. They’re found in cereals, pulses, legumes, nuts, seeds, dairy products, eggs, meat, fish, as well as in fresh fruit and vegetables. The recommended daily vitamin B intake for women and men is shown below:

Here, at YuBoost, we propose several types of infusion, based on your needs, which combine vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are rapidly assimilated into the body. They can be administered in your own home, in your workplace or in your hotel room, by a member of our team of nurses specialized in home care. Vitamin B deficiency symptoms

Various symptoms may occur in the event of vitamin B deficiency. Digestive disorders such as diarrhoea, constipation, nausea or abdominal cramps may warn you of this. Skin issues may appear: rashes, swollen tongue, cracks around the mouth, for example. You may also feel weaker, or be prone to severe fatigue, or feel numbness or tingling in your feet or hands. Anaemia, characterized by insufficient iron in the blood, may also be caused by a deficiency. Moreover, neuropsychiatric disorders (a state of depression, mood swings) may occur, as B group vitamins play a key role in mood balance.

Vitamin B deficiency: vulnerable people

Some people are more vulnerable to vitamin B deficiency: this includes people who have a vegetarian or vegan diet, who can frequently suffer from deficiency, in particular of vitamin B12. This is because this vitamin is mainly found in products of animal origin (meat, fish, shellfish, dairy products, eggs). People on proton-pump inhibitor treatment, prescribed for gastro-oesophageal reflux or peptic ulcers, are also more likely to develop a vitamin B deficiency

The benefits of vitamin B injections

IV therapy enables the body to assimilate 100% of a product, unlike food intake where absorption is limited to 40 or 50% of the vitamins ingested. IV injections are administered directly into the bloodstream meaning that you will notice rapid improvement in your symptoms within a few days of the infusion. The benefits most commonly seen include an energy boost, improved muscle tone less fatigue and stress, as well as greater mental focus. Improvement in sports performances, sleep quality, as well as in skin, hair, nail and complexion healthiness are also seen. Moreover, vitamin B helps prevent various diseases such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease and cardiovascular diseases.
